Below are instructions to get to those easy to forget service menus on the 80B.\u00a0 If you need functioning parts from a functioning DNS 80B go to GetSpares.com<\/a> and order yours today!\u00a0 There are from a working track so you can be confident they will work in your tool.<\/p>\n

There are two easy to forget Menus on DNS 80B tracks.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 One is called the “Hidden Menu” and one is called the “Secret Menu”\u00a0 Here is how to get there:<\/p>\n

1. Hidden Menu<\/strong><\/p>\n

Press Control P<\/p>\n

Password: screen\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (lowercase)<\/p>\n

Your should now get this screen:<\/p>\n

2. Secret Menu
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

We don’t have screen shots for this one but it is done during the power up.\u00a0 As soon as you turn on power, you will see the HIMEM testing and communication checks.\u00a0 During this time, you press the ‘HELP’ key multiple times.\u00a0 Do this until\u00a0 you are taken to the DOS prompt.\u00a0 That’s right, good old-fashioned DOS.\u00a0 Be very careful here as you can do all kinds of damage in this mode.<\/p>\n
